Learning to Interpret 'Health Dreams'

Sometimes your dreams will bring you information about health issues you are creating at the energetic level. Health dreams often occur about two months before symptoms show up in physical reality. When heeded, information from health dreams can help you identify steps you can take to prevent an illness from manifesting in your body. Health dreams are basically warning us that we’re off the mark. They’re telling you it's time to get back on track. If we don't, we will likely get sick.

A health dream can be recognized by certain symbols that correspond to the physical body. A car or small plane or boat in dreams symbolizes your body. In physical reality, a car takes you from one place to another. In spiritual reality, the body is how the soul moves from one experience to the next.

If something's going wrong with your car in a dream, it indicates something somewhere in your physical body is going wrong as well. The part of your car that’s experiencing problems offers clues as to the part of your body that is being weakened or damaged by misaligned thoughts, beliefs, emotions and attitudes. A broken windshield can point toward perceptual problems, whereas a dead battery can indicate challenges around the flow of life force energy. If you're wrecking your car, that indicates a self-destructive attitude is damaging your health. This often points toward addictive behaviors involving substance abuse, risky behaviors or negative emotions. If someone else is driving, that shows you don't feel you're in control of your life. This often leads to feelings of victimization and blame that have a deteriorating effect on the immune system.
